John joined JBA Aviation, Inc. in 1981, after having worked in state of the art electronic sales, for a large Fortune 100 company for several years and later inaugurating and operating his own aviation sales database company, in Houston, for a couple of years, immediately before joining JBA.

John graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, in 1967. He served as a U.S. Army Officer for five years, which included an assignment with the Army's prestigious ceremonial unit in Washington, DC, the 1st Battalion 3rd Infantry (Reinforced) "The Old Guard." In 1972 he resigned his commission, to pursue graduate studies at North Texas State University, where he obtained his Masters of Business Administration degree in 1973.

This 29 year JBA sales veteran is surpassed in seniority only by the company's founding fathers. He has closed aircraft transactions on virtually all manner of corporate jet aircraft during his tenure. Over the past couple of decades, he has closed in excess of two dozen deals in Mexico alone.
